Donkeys, foxes and lions
In one forest lived a variety of animals. One day a donkey and a fox made a deal with the lion king of the forest. The agreement says that from now on, the three animals will hunt together. They will share equally whatever prey is found. If three people hunt together, no one has to go without food.
The decision is that the donkey will keep a sharp eye on the prey. When he sees someone, he will approach him and introduce himself. The other two will keep an eye on the donkey from behind. After the donkey introductory ceremony, the fox will come out from behind and roar. The animal will naturally get scared then. He will try to run away. Then the fox will chase him. The animal will then run straight to avoid the fox, and will fall prey to the lion. The lion will then strike him with one blow.
According to the plan, after hunting all day, in the evening, donkeys, foxes and lions all sat down to share. The lion told the donkey to share his share. The donkey was very happy to hear the proposal of the lion king of the forest. I thought to myself- the lion has shown him great respect by giving him the responsibility of sharing the prey. However, the donkey very carefully divides all the prey into three equal parts. Then he said to the fox and the lion: The work of division is over. Now you two please share.
Hearing the donkey's words, the lion looked at the donkeys. Then he said: Then you think all three of us should be equal, right? Do you think that talking to the victim is the same as killing me?
At that, the lion jumped on the donkey and killed him. Then the fox is told to share the prey. Seeing the fate of the donkey, the fox was trembling with fear. With great difficulty he managed to control himself and sat down to share. They put together almost everything they hunted together. Put another little part in the other part. Requested the lion to take the large portion. Seeing the fox sharing, the lion was very happy and said: Well, who taught you such a nice and fair sharing technique?
The fox said politely: I have learned to share like this after seeing the fate of the donkey a little while ago, sir.
Saying this, the fox left in front of the lion. And he decided in his mind that he would never take the lion with him in any future work.
